The Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) acts as a National Agency for the management, dissemination, promotion and impact studies of the Erasmus+ programme in the field of Education and Training, in addition to other European educational initiatives and programmes. It also coordinates and participates in national and international projects and, in addition, its functions include contributing to a greater international projection of the Spanish university system and its offer.
The SEPIE is responsible for disseminating the call for programmes, providing technical assistance and advice to potential beneficiaries of the actions and providing adequate follow-up so that the planned actions achieve their results.
For its dissemination and monitoring tasks, SEPIE has the collaboration of a wide network of institutions: Regional Departments of Education in the Autonomous Communities, Universities, Regional Public Employment Services, Chambers of Commerce, business and trade union organisations and other institutions that offer training activities.
