The Integrated White Room of Micro and Nano Manufacturing (SBCNM) is an ICTS dedicated to the development and application of innovative technologies in the field of microelectronics, along with other emerging Micro/Nanotechnologies. It is administratively integrated into the National Center for Microelectronics - Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona - (IMB-CNM), a research center belonging to the Higher Council of Scientific Research (CSIC).

Since its creation, the SBCNM is the main facility supporting the IMB-CNM R&D activity. Although clearly defined in its resources, policies and mission, the SBCNM needs to be understood within the framework of the IMB-CNM. The White Room serves not only the IMB-CNM research groups, but is also an open access center with broad scientific and technical guidance in the field of micro- and nanotechnology-based devices, circuits and systems.

The SBCNM, depends on the Higher Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) and is managed as part of the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona, located in Bellaterra.
