The Teacher Evaluation Program for Recruitment (PEP) is a procedure for obtaining the evaluation of the National Agency for Quality Evaluation and Accreditation (ANECA), and its certification, for the purpose of hiring teaching staff and university researchers.
The curricular evaluation of the candidacies for positions of teachers hired as a prerequisite to the recruitment is carried out in the figures that require it by law:
- In the case of public universities, the law requires a prior favourable report for the figures of Contracted Professor/a Doctor (PCD).
- In the case of private universities, the law establishes that 60% of the total number of doctoral professors of a private university must have obtained a positive evaluation of ANECA for the figure of Private University Professor (PUP).
To participate in the call it is necessary to have the title of Doctor. In case the title is in the process of being approved, you can request the evaluation. However, this shall have no effect until the actual approval of the title.
The maximum period of resolution of this procedure is 6 months from the date of registration of the application.
