Who can request the speeding up of the processing of applications for approval or declaration of equivalence?
All persons with refugee, asylum seeker or temporary protection status (according to the Temporary Protection Directive, Council Directive 2001/55/EC).
For people from Afghanistan or Ukraine who have had to leave the country as a result of deteriorating political, humanitarian and security conditions, the Ministry has published Resolutions that issue instructions to request expeditious processing of approval and declaration of equivalence files (see scope of application of the resolution).
How to request the acceleration?
Submit the corresponding request through the electronic office.

If you are a refugee from Afghanistan
Once the application has been submitted, you must inform us by e-mail that you wish to avail yourself of this streamlining process.

In the email you must indicate which of the situations listed in the resolution (situations a-g) justifies this recognition, the name and surname of the applicant and the file code.
If you are a refugee from Ukraine
Once the application has been submitted, you must inform us by e-mail that you wish to avail yourself of this streamlining process.
