The reform of the Science Act guarantees for the first time public funding of R&D&I that is increasing to achieve the objective of 1.25% of public investment in 2030, which guarantees funding in the medium-term for public agents of the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation System, with effects that will last in the system.
In addition, this stable funding will allow Spain to converge with Europe, complying with the funding objective proposed in the EU Pact for Research and Innovation, as well as the Pact for Science and Innovation signed in Spain by more than 80 scientific, academic, business and trade union organizations.
