The Strategic Grants Plan for the year 2026 aims to serve as an instrument for planning and implementing the policy of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in the field of grants. This Plan is composed of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2024-2027 and the complementary Strategic Grant Plan for the year 2026.
The State Plan of Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation constitutes the fundamental instrument of the General Administration of the State for the development and achievement of the objectives of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation, and includes the State subsidies destined to R+D+I, and has the consideration of a Strategic Plan of subsidies for the purposes of the provisions of the General Law of subsidies. This Plan includes the support of all ministerial departments and agencies that grant R&D&I grants.
The Strategic Grant Plan for the year 2026, complementary to the previous one, contains the grant lines of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities that are not included in the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2024-2027.
