Patricia Altea Manzano, Gabriella Morreale National Youth Research Award in Medicine and Health Sciences
Patricia Altea is a researcher Ramón y Cajal and ERC Starting Grant at the Andalusian Center for Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine-CABIMER in Seville (mixed center CSIC-Junta de Andalucía -US-UPO).
She has been awarded for her ability to lead and attract national and international funds with the design and direction of pioneering projects in renowned laboratories in first-class biomedical institutions.
They highlight their findings on metabolic regulation and signaling in diseases such as cancer and the translation of molecular mechanisms into pharmacological targets, as well as the wide scientific and social dissemination of the results of their research lines.
