Josep Dalmau Obrador, National Gregorio Marañón Research Award in Medicine and Health Sciences

Josep Dalmau Obrador is an expert neurologist in neurooncology, paraneoplastic syndromes and autoimmune encephalitis at the FRCB Institute of Biomedical Research August Pi i Sunyer in Barcelona. He has received the Award for his outstanding national and internationally recognized scientific career, the originality of his research combining Neurology, Oncology and Immunology and his transformative role in clinical practice and in the discovery of antibody-mediated diseases that affect neuronal synapses.
