- National Research Award "Leonardo Torres Quevedo" in the area of engineering and architecture, to Don Íñigo Javier Losada Rodríguez.
- National Research Award "Ramón Menéndez Pidal" in the area of humanities, to Don Daniel Innerarity Grau.
- National Research Award "Gregorio Marañón" in the area of medicine and health sciences, to Don Miguel Ángel Martínez González.
- National Research Award "Alejando Malaspina" in the area of natural resources sciences, to Don Fernando Tomás Maestre Gil.
- National Research Award "Blas Cabrera" in the area of physical sciences, materials and land, to Don José Cernicharo Quintanilla.
- National Research Award "Enrique Moles" in the area of chemical science and technology, to Don Antonio María Echevarren Pablos.
- National Research Award "Juan de la Cierva" in the area of technology transfer, to Doña Ana Martínez Gil.
- National Research Award "Julio Rey Pastor" in the area of mathematics and information and communication technology, to Don Antonio Ros Mulero.
