The Information System on Science, Technology and Innovation (SICTI) is a joint and shared information system between the General Administration of the State (AGE) and the autonomous communities (CC. AA. ). It involves the ministerial departments, the departments of the CC. AA., and state and regional R&D&I funding agencies.
Data from different areas of the Spanish System of Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTI) are integrated: the financing of R+D+I through the General State Budgets and the CC. AA., the public aid financed by the AGE and by the CC. AA., aid from the European Framework Programme, information on publications, patents and other mechanisms for the protection of results, as well as other indicators of knowledge transfer and innovation.
Likewise, SICTI provides a catalogue of public entities dedicated to the financing, management and/or execution of R+D+I activities within the SECTI, and under the umbrella of the Spanish Strategy of Science, Technology and Innovation (EECTI).
