Observatorios de Canarias (OOCC)

The Observatories of the Canary Islands, which operates the Astrophysical Institute of the Canary Islands, are formed by the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, on the island of La Palma, and the Teide Observatory, in Tenerife, both at about 2400 m altitude.

The observatories house telescopes and instruments belonging to more than 60 institutions and consortia from almost 40 countries, constituting the most important group of facilities for night, solar, visible and infrared astrophysics in the EU territories.
