Observatorios de Canarias (OOCC)

The Observatories of the Canary Islands, operated by the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands, comprise the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, on the island of La Palma, and the Teide Observatory, on Tenerife, both situated at an altitude of approximately 2400 m above sea level.

The observatories house telescopes and instruments owned by more than 60 institutions and consortia from almost 40 countries, constituting the most comprehensive group of facilities for night-time, solar, visible and infrared astrophysics in the EU.
