Law on Science, Technology and Innovation

The reform of the Law of Science, Technology and Innovation, already in force, gives more guarantees and rights to the scientific and innovative community of our country and introduces important improvements in the Spanish R+D+I system around six main pillars:

• The improvement of the scientific and technical career, with the introduction of new labor rights and greater stability.
• Stable and growing public R[amp]D funding with the aim of reaching 1.25% of GDP by 2030 - and 3% alongside private investment - in accordance with the Pact on Science and Innovation.
• Reduction of administrative burdens.
• The impulse to the transfer of knowledge.
• The governance.
• Gender equality in the R&D&I system.
