In addition to the targeted actions of PERTE, support is provided to support cross-cutting technologies in the sector that, due to the nature of the innovative process, are uncertain and depend on new needs or opportunities not previously identified, derived from the environment or competitive needs.
The partially reimbursable CDTI grants are characterised by their bottom-up approach, that is, without predefined technology lines and supporting any innovative business initiative, they are an ideal complement to PERTE’s actions.
This aid is articulated both in individual R&D projects and in cooperative projects, such as the CENTENs, and in aid for innovation through the LIC and LIC-A lines.
