In addition to the focused PERTE actions, grants are contemplated to support cross-cutting technologies in the sector that, due to the very nature of the innovative process, are uncertain and that depend on new needs or opportunities not previously identified, derived from the environment or from competitive needs.
The partially reimbursable CDTI grants are known for their bottom-up approach, that is, without predefined lines and technologies that support any innovative business initiative, they are an ideal complement to PERTE actions.
These grants are assigned to both individual R&D projects and cooperative projects, such as CIEN, and grants for innovation through the LIC and LIC-A lines.
