Glossary of terms

The process of recognition of foreign university degrees in Spain involves the use of a specific terminology, both in the academic and administrative fields. In order to facilitate the understanding of these concepts and to establish a clear correspondence between the terms used in the Spanish system and those used in other countries, this glossary is presented.

Its purpose is to provide precise definitions that contribute to a homogeneous and accessible interpretation of the recognition procedure.

The following table shows some of the terms most used in this process, which are expanded in the document "Glossary of terms".
