- National Research Award “Santiago Ramón y Cajal”, in the area of Biology to Don José López Barneo.
- National Research Award “Leonardo Torres Quevedo”, in the area of Engineering to Don Francisco Javier Llorca Martínez.
- National Research Award “Ramón Menéndez Pidal” in the area of Humanities to Don Felipe Criado Boado.
- National Research Award “Gregorio Marañón” in the area of Medicine to Don Luis Ilulas Sánchez.
- National Research Award “Alejandro Malaspina”, in the area of Natural Resources Sciences to Don Josep Peñuelas Reixach.
- National Research Award “Blas Cabrera”, in the area of Physical Sciences, Materials and Earth to Don Ángel Rubio Secades.
- National Research Award “Enrique Moles”, in the area of Chemical Science and Technology to Don Jesús Jiménez Barbero.
- National Research Award “Juan de la Cierva”, in the area of Knowledge transfer to Don Javier García Martínez.
- National Research Award “Julio Rey Pastor” in the area of Mathematics and Information and Communication Technologies to Don Diego Córdoba Gazolaz.
- National Research Award “Pascual Madoz”, in the area of Law and Economic and Social Sciences to Don Manuel Arellano González.
